Nova Scotia Music Week

Nova Scotia Music Week returns to Truro for its 29th year, bringing four days of festival performances, industry programming, and the annual Music Nova Scotia Awards to the heart of Colchester County. One of Atlantic Canada's premier music industry events, Music Week features 100+ live showcases across multiple downtown Truro venues, spotlighting the best of the province's established and emerging talent alongside national touring acts.

The 2026 edition runs November 12–15, marking the festival's return to Truro for the first time in five years. Beyond the nightly showcases, the event includes a full industry conference with panels, workshops, and networking sessions for artists, managers, labels, and music industry professionals. The highlight is the Music Nova Scotia Awards ceremony, recognizing outstanding achievement across genres from folk and rock to hip-hop, electronic, and Indigenous music.
