Clam Harbour Beach Sandcastle Competition
Annual sandcastle and sand sculpturing contest that has drawn over 10,000 people to the Eastern Shore every August since 1979. The 2026 edition (Aug 23) was cancelled by HRM over weather-safety concerns; the competition is expected to return in August 2027.
