Sweet Treasures Confectionery has occupied 110 Montague Street in Lunenburg since 1997, serving ice cream and candy to summer crowds on the town's main shopping street. The family-run shop looks out over the harbour from one of the oldest blocks in the UNESCO-designated Old Town. Regulars come for the saltwater taffy and scooped ice cream, then walk the two minutes down to the waterfront.

Owner John Suederick runs the shop season after season, and customers often build their entire Lunenburg afternoon around a stop for homemade ice cream.
