Cape George Lighthouse (Bras d'Or Lakes) is a square wooden tower, painted white, located on the cape at the north entrance to St. Peter's Inlet in Richmond County, Cape Breton Island. The current tower was built in 1950, replacing an earlier 1875 tower that is no longer standing. The lighthouse stands 27 feet tall and was automated by 1973. It is accessible by car along the Bras d'Or Lakes Scenic Drive and offers views of the stunning Bras d'Or Lakes region.
