Detailed Information

Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards Restaurant

Lightfoot & Wolfville is a family-owned, certified organic and biodynamic farm winery in the heart of the Annapolis Valley, with 40 acres of grapevines and a working farm that supplies the kitchen. The seasonal restaurant is one of Nova Scotia's standout culinary destinations β€” recognized by Canada's 100 Best as a Best Destination Restaurant (2023) β€” pairing estate cool-climate wines with farm-to-table cooking and views of Cape Blomidon across the Minas Basin.

The Food

The menu shifts with the seasons and centres on ingredients from the family's Home Farm and local Valley producers. From spring through early autumn the kitchen revolves around an outdoor wood-fired pizza oven, served al fresco beside the vines; in late autumn and winter service moves indoors to the "Gallery" dining room. Expect a coastal-influenced menu built to complement the estate's Tidal Bay appellation wines β€” and on Wednesday evenings from July through early September, the Tidal Bay Seafood Series pairs local seafood with the winery's signature white (with lobster dinners on the first Wednesday of the month).

Reservations & Hours

Summer menu served 7 days a week. Reservations are accepted for parties of 4–10 guests; parties of fewer than 4 are welcomed on a walk-in basis (wait times vary). For groups of 11–24 the winery offers a set-menu, family-style group dining experience, and private events can be arranged for larger parties. Book through the restaurant reservations page or call 902-542-7774 (admin@lightfootandwolfville.com). Dine-in only β€” no take-out.
