About Bay Pride Festival
The 2nd Annual Bay Pride Festival brought 18+ events across the St. Margaret's Bay region, spanning from Peggy's Cove to Hubbards and Bayswater. This volunteer-run community celebration featured drag shows, beach events, live music, art exhibitions, family activities, and community gatherings.
As a growing regional Pride celebration, Bay Pride complemented the larger Halifax Pride Festival (Jul 16-26) by extending Pride events across the broader St. Margaret's Bay community. The festival showcased the inclusivity and community spirit of Nova Scotia's coastal communities.
